ELD Mobile App
FMCSA’s (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) ELD mandate (Electronic Logging Device) requires events be logged periodically while a vehicle is in operation. The mandate requires accurate location be logged whenever these records are created. The TruckingOffice ELD app implements the ELD mandate specifications and thus is required to obtain locations while the app is running – in the foreground or background.
