In regards to IFTA, Oregon requires you to submit a license application to The Department of Transportation. Oregon charges a fee based on the number of motor vehicles being operated under IFTA jurisdictions, starting with $280 for 1 vehicle. If you qualify for the farm rate, a fixed amount of $50 will be assessed regardless of the number of vehicles just as long as more than half of those IFTA qualified vehicles are Oregon farm-plated.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) works to streamline the process of fuel taxation and collection. It has proved to be much more efficient than previous methods of collection. Your IFTA Oregon license provides a number of benefits.<\/span><\/p>\n You will need to determine your state of base jurisdiction. Oregon is your base jurisdiction if you have an established business in the state and operate and register a qualified motor vehicle in at least one other IFTA member jurisdiction. Qualified motor vehicles operating in more than one IFTA jurisdiction are required to obtain a license and <\/span>IFTA decals<\/span><\/a> which allows them to travel in any member jurisdiction. Qualified vehicles are defined as a vehicle(s) that is designed, maintained, and used to transport persons or property and meets the following requirements:<\/span><\/p>\n If a vehicle meets these criteria, you can apply for an IFTA license. \u00a0You can apply online or print the form and submit it by mail. In Oregon, IFTA requires you to submit an IFTA sticker application to The Department of Transportation. A fee is charged based on the number of motor vehicles being operated under IFTA jurisdictions, starting at $280 for one vehicle. Oregon IFTA offers a farm rate for those who qualify\u2014a fixed amount of $50, regardless of the number of vehicles.
